"My choice for winner of best Commercial site is "English in Chester". It's clear a huge amount of effort has been made to make the site accessible to broad range of people:
The elastic layout, text and images all scale nicely with changes of browser text size, along with separate text sizing options and a well executed high contrast/zoom layout. The HTML is structured HTML including good use of headings, well coded headings and forms.
There's a read aloud option for most pages and captioning for the videos. Above all, though the site has an elegant visual design, with a straightforward information architecture and well laid out pages. It was a pleasure to browse.
I would also like to commend the First Great Western site for managing to make its complex pages & information screen reader friendly, and midi.is for doing a good job with a visually interesting design."
